It's Not Just a Ping-Pong Table
ADS embraces a work hard, play hard mentality, and we strive to not only meet expectations but to exceed them. A passion that's carried over from our previous workspace is our love for ping-pong. Therefore, we bought a ping-pong table for our new building. With a look around the building and a shrug of the shoulders, our new green gathering terminus took up residence in the ADS conference room and the beloved "Pongference Room" was born.
We encourage everyone to take breaks to stave off burn-out, and the Pongference Room serves as a perfect outlet for relaxation and stress relief.
CTO, Anselmo Di Fabio, said, "In today's world among growing distractions, it's harder for people to maintain focus after extended periods of work. Taking a step aside for 15-20 minutes after an hour or two to recharge, rejuvenate, and gather your thoughts is key to being the most productive you can be. It just so happens that those 20 minutes are typically spent at the (ping-pong) table. Are we pros? No way, but we certainly like to think we are."

The Pongference Room table is not only a ping-pong table; it truly is a conference room table. The table itself is a conversation starter; when we welcome our clients to the Pongference Room, we get a grin preceded by, "Is that really a ping-pong table?"
The Pongference Room will soon be converted into a true conference room with an actual table. That doesn't mean it will be the end of our ping-pong games. The ping-pong table will be moved to a place of honor on the soon-to-be renovated first floor. For now, we look forward to a future of friendly competition and productive business meetings in our multi-purpose Pongference Room.
